    Welcome prospective families! We're looking forward to another great swim season!

    Our season begins May 13th and ends June 29th. As always, it's an intense 7 weeks- but SO MUCH FUN.

    Here’s the cost of registration this season:

    Winchester Residents and HOA members

    First child $120

    Each additional $105

    Non Winchester residents/Non HOA members

    First child $150

    Each additional $135

    And here’s a breakdown of what your registration fee covers:

    1. 7 weeks of coaching- over 100 hours of swim instruction and swim meets!

    2. Custom team shirt

    3. Custom team cap

    4. End of year swim plaque (1st year swimmers) with year placard

    5. Ribbons earned over the course of the season

    6. Swimmingly registration fee (our swim meet platform)

    7. League fees and insurance

    8. SwimTopia fees: Wave uses the swimtopia web platform (winchesterwave.org) for registration, event management, merchandise sales, etc.

    9 Printer, paper, ink, markers, labels, and all additional miscellaneous supply costs.

    Jr. Coach Applicants

    Would your swimmer like to join our Jr. Coach program? Junior coaches must be active members of the team age 14 or older, swim for the team during the season they coach, and be able to coach a minimum of two practices per week.     Volunteer Requirements

    We rely completely and absolutely on parent volunteers to help run our season. If you are new to our team (or just need a reminder) each family will be expected to volunteer for AT LEAST 4 of the 8 meets during our season (8 points total- This could be more depending on our registration numbers).

    We divide our volunteer positions into half meet positions, so you can get all of the required volunteering done in 4 of the meets or spread it out across 8 meets (including champs)

    If you do not meet the volunteer requirements, your child won’t be able to swim in the meets. Volunteers don’t have to be parents, but they do have to be responsible and 16 or over. If you do have extenuating circumstances or any questions, contact Trisha @ [email protected]

    Winchester Wave Swim Team Code of Conduct

    This Code of Conduct is to enhance the positive experience of all swimmers and ensure a fun, safe and positive learning environment for all swimmers and spectators.

    All Winchester Wave Swim Team (the “Team”) members, as well as their parents, guardians and/or family members (collectively, the “Participants”), must follow the Code of Conduct as outlined below.

    This form must be signed by both the swimmer(s) and parent(s) in order to participate on the Team.

    Each Participant agrees to:

    • Display respect and good sportsmanship toward coaches, teammates, fellow competitors, parents, officials and volunteers at all times.
    • Respect the decisions of the coaches, the officials and volunteers, and agree that any disputes will be handled through official channels.
    • Refrain from any hurtful or any other inappropriate behaviors.
    • Comply with the Triad Swim League By-Laws (by-laws available at www.winchester.org).

    Failure to comply with these standards by any Participant may result in disciplinary action.

    Winchester Wave Liability Waver

    In consideration of the acceptance of my child(ren)s registration in the Winchester Wave summer Swim League (“Swim League”), I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims for damages for death, personal injury or property damage which child(ren) may have, or which may hereafter accrue to them, as a result of participation in the Swim League. This release is intended to discharge in advance the Winchester Homeowner’s Association, the Winchester Wave Swim Team Committee, their agents, organizers, sponsors and employees from liability, even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the persons or entities mentioned above. It is understood that some recreational activities involve an element of risk or danger of accidents, and knowing those risks, I thereby assume those risks on behalf of my child(ren). It is further understood and agreed that this waiver, release and assumption of risk is to be binding on my heirs and assigns.

    I have read and understand the foregoing liability release form, and agree to all terms and conditions.
